Sadness
I try to stay out of politics on Flickr. Photography is not partisan, and that's a good thing. But tonight I'm making an exception. I was taught to be proud of my country when I was a child. I was proud to serve my country for four years in the military. I'm not proud of my country tonight. This is hardly the first time that my preferred candidate has lost an election, but there's something different this time around. This election revealed something about the character of the country. What it revealed fills me with a deep and profound sadness.
