Plimoth Plantation, Plymouth, MA. There were no signs or labels, only people who were (completely) in character, speaking with the accent of the time. They were marvellously able to answer any questions that you asked. The more that you asked, the more that you got a sense of who these people were, what they gave up to come to this New England and what they felt they had gained (or not).
