Extract from "More Rough Travel Notes with an Architectural Eye - 2012":
Pattern and decoration were repetitive or modular. In King’s Col Chapel the same window tracery is used 24 times, and so is the motif for the fan-vaulting. Yet this ceiling creates an atmosphere of luxuriance.
The plan is a remarkably long and narrow rectangle, with the Chapel 289 ft long, while reaching 80ft high.
