Fisherman, Breaker Bay

Kahawai were running beyond the surf at Breaker Bay this morning. Six fishermen were lined along the sand, casting out and hauling in fish. This man had cut flax leaves to string his catch.

 

White-fronted terns were fishing too, diving and catching sprats.
