kola bear claws the snow
Kola really likes my snowshoe tracks from yesterday, they let her go way out into the fields which still have 3 feet of snow on them. Her old back legs can't take too many 'post hole' steps that sink to her waist. She's a big dog at 110lbs and even with webbed clawed feet (dog version of snowshoe) she sinks in 10-15" some steps. At 12yrs old, she's still living large : ).
