For bunkers, stores and repairs to the pipeline routing system.

 

An offshore construction support & pipe-laying vessel.

 

Two cranes fitted to the port side:

1) Port side aft:

The SWL 400t Knuckle Boom offshore main crane, capable of working to a water depth of 3,000m, and incorporating a special lift mode enabling installation of tall, high footprint, high load lifts such as integrated template structures.

Knuckle boom crane rated 3,000msw with AHC (active heave compensation).

Harbour: 400t at 15m.

Subsea (1,000m): 326t at 13m.

Subsea (2,500m): 215t

 

2) Port side forward:

The auxiliary crane with 50-100t AHC (active heave compensation) knuckle boom crane, 2000 msw (no AHC in 100t double fall mode)

Auxiliary Crane: 2x passive roll damping tanks, 3x 3, 600m³/hr anti heeling pumps, 3x 10t deck tuggers, 1x 30t deck tugger.

 

 

Keel laid on 15/12/2006, launched on 30/9/2007 and completed at the shipyard on 07/07/2008.

Hull built by by Aker Tulcea, Tulcea, Romania (372) & completed by Aker Sovikness, Sovik, Norway (154)

16,500 g.t. and 11,000 dwt., as:

'Skandi Acergy'.
