Riding the Safe Shoulders

A 6 year kid rides on the safe shoulder of Tansing on Chadar near Singra Koma. The ice has melted away making walk difficult in the cold waters of Zanskar. Zanskari Kids travel the long distance from the remote villages to Leh in winter through Chadar to reach schools. Life goes on even in cold chilling winters.
