Friends 1 In an unfortunate development the Supreme Court of India has put on stay the process of implementation of 27% OBC reservation in central universities and institutes in the country from the next academic session. The JNUSU expresses its deep dissatisfaction and disagreement with the form and tone in which the Supreme Court .

has pro11ounced its judgment today. While the main reason cited by the court is lack on any "concrete" data as to what is the actual proportion of the OBCs in our country, the manner in which certain comments were made on the reservation policy indicates very elite & biased opinion of the judiciary. .
