Matrosen Division

An unused postcard depicting a group of young sailors wearing dark-blue matrosen-anzug as typical for the Imperial Navy (Kaiserliche Marine). The Mützeband of their Tellermütze identifies them as being part of one of the Matrosen Disivionen. A signal trooper patch can also be seen (see close-up).

 

The sign says: as strangers we met, as friends we part.
