Haiku Scrappy Mug Rug Swap v.5, Front, Finished

All done, partner! I hope you like the whimsy of this. The tag on the tea is the label- my name on this side, yours on the back. Might have used initials, not a lot of room to write! I'm still working on the poem. :)

 

After several attempts, this is what I went with-

 

Puddles are okay

but your cup of tea beckoned.

Some privacy, please?

Taste buds not working-

Tea seems different today.

Steeped too long, ya think?

 

Do I hear the phone?

Cup left unattended sits,

Vacant not for long.
