Albert, Ghana
NCCE, in collaboration with other organisations, organises community meetings to discuss issues that bother them, such as early or forced marriages.
The NCCE has changed the attitude of many Ghanaians overnight. Before, when it was election time, people used to attack each other because of political differences. Now, after our work, we can see that people have a political conscience and are interested in what is happening in their country. They have learnt about coming together, living peacefully and respecting each other.
The future of Ghana is bright, provided we are prepared to be united as a country, but first we have to change many of our attitudes as individuals. As long as we achieve that, prosperity will come to our land.
