I arrived here when I was working to open roads with a bulldozer. We started to open the roads here with the support of the community – for the welfare of the people, adults and children. We worked together really hard to achieve their goal. I felt satisfied and happy to see such a union and then the community talked and they decided to give me some land.

 

I have never had a stable place to live because I had always lived in a rental room. But the community gave me this land and I accepted so happily. Immediately I started to work on the land and then I brought my wife and my children to live here.

 

I think that, thanks to the work that I did in this community, the people started to like me and trusted me and then they helped me to build my house, which I could only have achieved thanks to the community work of all the neighbours.

 

I believe that we have achieved so much as a community thanks to the effort of all of us. Now we will carry on working together so our children don't have to suffer in the same way that we had to suffer.
