Crowded Col du Ecandies

Everyone de-skinning in the Col. About 10kms down valley (and 4-5kms before Champex) we passed the American trio one of whom was attempting to ski down the valley on a single ski, having torn the toe piece of his binding out of his ski...we met them on the last night in the Vignettes Hut and they did get out to finish (at the cost of a new pair of skis in Verbier)
