Homestead - Mid Pen Housing, Sunnyvale, CA Community Launch Event - Dec 16-17, 2010
On Thursday Dec 16 and Friday Dec 17th of the current year. One Economy participated in the Mid Pen Housing Homestead Community Launch Event at Sunnyvale, CA. The Community Launch Event and Mobile Lab Training took place at the Homestead Community Room inside the Property.
The OE Broadband Technology Van was in hand to offer Digital Literacy Training to Mid Pen Housing Homestead Residents out of the BTOP Grant.
One Economy trained 20 residents and provided approximately 35 trainings, the trainings were very receptive by the Country Hills residents. Some of the Mobile Lab trainings covered, MS Office, Internet Safety, email and job search, computer basics, typing, and how to connect to the "We Are Now Connected" Free Wireless Network installed by One Economy Corp.
All training residents also received Norton Antivirus donated software from Symantec.
