I shot a few illustrations last night for my latest Prairie Rim Images blog post, which introduces my Pentax Takumar line of "fast fifty" lenses.

Here we see my 1967 Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens.
This series was shot in a DIY light tent made from a clear rubbermaid storage tub, a few sheets of white printer paper, and a sheet of black craft foam. Lighting came from a Vivitar 283 through an umbrella at camera right and white paper reflectors all around. Shot through my Nikon Micro-Nikkor 55/2.8 at f/5.6.
