"For your personal security during this time we also suggest:

 

* Limit your movements on Sunday. If you do not have a need to

leave your house on Sunday, it is best to stay home.

* If you must be out, avoid areas where there are large crowds of

people, rallies, protests, and demonstrations.

* Do not wear any garments with the names of political parties,

their logos, closely identified colors (e.g., red, or a combination of

red, white and blue, or green) or slogans.

* DO NOT go to any polling station unless it is in an official

capacity. DO NOT accompany Salvadoran friends or family who may be

voting.

* Avoid the areas of the Radisson in San Salvador and the Feria

Internacional.

* The Embassy has advised its American employees to avoid travel

outside of San Salvador, and advises all other American Citizens to

minimize their travel on Sunday. If you must go out use extra caution,

ensure your car windows are up and doors locked, and always carry your

cell phone with you."
