Royal Terns at Canaveral National Seashore, Florida
Details best viewed in Original Size.
I photographed these Royal Terns at the Canaveral National Seashore located immediately north of the NASA Space complex and adjacent to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on Florida's Atlantic Coast. Other than the human sun worshipers and fishermen, this is the only wildlife Jan Nagalski and I could find. The water was very inviting, but modern photographic equipment, not meant for water, doesn't take well to it.
