The Golden Zebra Plant (Sanchezia speciosa) is an evergreen shrub from Peru and Ecuador. It grows eight to nine feet tall, has opposite green leaves striped with yellow and green or purple stems. The inflorescences are terminal or axillary spikes of yellow tubular flowers with red bracts. It is popular as a houseplant and in greenhouses and tropical landscapes.
