Ice cave
No, this is not Hoth, though it kind of looks like it. This was shot in Midway Utah. At the risk of potentially losing some respect, I have to admit this is man made. This is a location called the Ice Castle. I will probably be posting several from this night. My brother and I flew out to Utah just to shoot this.
I knew it would be crowded, but I had no idea it would be that crowded. The biggest challenge, for sure, was avoiding crowds. This area was actually closed because it was too warm and they thought the ceiling may collapse. They were actually investigating it when I took this, that's where the other warm lights came from. Seconds after I got this frame they did open this section. So the timing was great.
I have said this before in other posts, but I am a sucker form the beauty that can happen when made features meet nature. Always been a big fan of the CCC that built so many walkways, walls and lodges in National Parks across the country for that very reason.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
