Iron Mike Statue
Bronze statue of a World War One Marine nicknamed "Iron Mike", by French sculptor Charles Raphael Peyre, in front of the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, VA. The sculpture, called Crusading for Right by the artist, is actually a copy of the original, which is located in the actual Marine Base at Quantico, inaccessible to the public. In the background is the Marine Corps Museum building, a new landmark in the I-95 corridor south of Washington, DC.
