How attractive.

This spent most of its working life as a non-PSV machine (new to RNIB Guide Dogs, Exeter in 1994, later transferring to Action for Blind People down the road in Teignmouth), but it did serve with Turner of Rochford (t/a Regency Coaches - branding still visible on the blue stripe) for six years, where it gained the current registration. I guess that means it ticks enough boxes to be included on this photostream.

Plus, the coachwork was done by Pilcher-Greene of Burgess Hill - a relatively rare (and long since dead) company, who specialised in converting Land Rovers into go-anywhere ambulances - so that makes it more interesting than "just another knackered Merc van".
