Red Rain Is Pouring Down

I've been wanting to take a ride over to the western part of the White Mountains all week, over near Payson. It was a gray and rainy all afternoon yesterday. I almost bailed out again. Looked like there was zero potential of the sun coming out.

 

I looked at the 10 day weather forecast.

So, I went anyway. Didn't look like it mattered what day I took that ride.

 

I never would have guessed that such a gray and gloomy afternoon could have possibly ended with a sunset like this! The red streaks below the clouds is falling rain, illuminated by the setting sun.
