Apparently preserved.

South of Virginia City a 2' 3" narrow gauge runs for a mile or so ferrying tourists to and from an adjacent recreated 1870's settlement, Nevada City. At the southern end of a line is a rail museum which contained a superbly restored steam engine. Outside, stored awaiting attention were this old coach and saddle tank.

If anyone can trace any details, by all means please let me know.
