God Bless Texas

 

Happy Birthday Texas! On this date in 1836, 175 years ago, Texas declared Independence from Mexico. An independence they would secure on the battlefield in April of that year.

 

I'm a seventh generation Texan and had two branches of my family move to The Republic of Texas in the 1840s. We've been Texans ever since!
