At the yearly commemoration in Amsterdam of the liberation of WWII Dachau concentration camp, the public walk through the Himmelstrasse, on the pavement of which the names of 500 WWII camps are ingraved. At Dachau, which is near Munich in Germany, tens of thousands of prisoners were murdered, among them 2,000 Dutch.
