Monitor playground: Back when playgrounds were actually fun [2 of 2]

This old equipment has been replace by shiny new equipment that is colourful, safe, and ... boring.

 

I remember driving through town one day right after this was installed and seeing the kids of a lady who helped get this put in busy playing ... in a pile of dangerous and rusting equipment a block over.
