A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1W Super Cobra assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 167 takes off the flightline of Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. HMLA-167 conducted a live-fire exercise using the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile to improve proficiency and give the squadron an opportunity to utilize live ammunition.
