Rectangular Triggerfish

Taken in February 2008 in Maui, Hawaii.

 

This is a rectangular triggerfish, also called the humuhumu-nukunuku-ā-pua'a. These are the state fish of Hawaii and are relatively commonly seen. They are definitely favorites to see on the reef.
