Murray Porter Band live in Chinatown, Vancouver
The Murray Porter Band in fine form, playing a storming blues set in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown.
They played scorching Res Bluez’ – First Nations blues – as the highlight of a street party to officially open Vancouver Native Housing’s Skwachàys Healing Lodge.
It held on Pender Street (between Abbott and Carrall) just shy of the Millennium Gate on Monday, June 11, 2012.
The building being opened will house the Urban Aboriginal Fair Trade Art Gallery, 24 units of low income housing, and a medical stay facility for people traveling to Vancouver for treatment.
