I keep thinking of these kinds of images as "bubblegum" shots - must be the bright colors that somehow trigger this association.
As some of you have noticed, my flickr presence has been rather, uhm, lax these days. I can't quite keep up with the varying demands for my time. While I used to be a time-millionaire, Lilly seems to be a time-devouring black hole, and I now find myself a time-pauper. Gone are the days (at least for now) of endlessly strolling along the beach with camera in hand.
No sir (or ma'm), it's too hot to drag the little one along and it's also not nice to leave mommy behind to fend for herself. As Lilly currently experiences a growth spurt, her demands are quite frightening. Not as frightening as her impatient cries when a demand is not met immediately.
Thus, please bear with me while I neglect you all. I miss looking at all your images but hey, I'm getting peed on over here (and thrown up on) and that's just soooooo much fun...
Ah, the joys of fatherhood - thank dog I am almost ready to turn senile, smile and nod no matter what happens. Everybody said it would be fun, though - I thought it was suspicious when they all added that no matter what happens, "it will get better." Now I understand...
All joking aside, I couldn't be happier with the little peach - she's got a healthy spirit, too. I think we match (and mesh) quite well. Me thinks I'm in love...
