Optional Excursions

Guests who signed up for the full week of activities had the option of traveling to the following scenic destinations: May 23 - Castel Gandolfo (former summer residence of many popes), Villa Aldobrandini, and Abbey of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata (church). May 24 - Borghese Galleria (art museum). May 26 - Vatican City and museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica.
