This bus was new to Lothian Buses in 2002 as 651 registerd SK52OHN.
Seen here at South Queensferry.
This bus was repainted into a new version of the Bus and Boat Tour livery and reregistered as XIL1484, 651 is also reregisterd X1483 for the tour. This bus replaced 433 originally and 650 has been added to the tour replaaced 285.
Both 650 and 651 run on this route with no standby bus. Presumably this is to reduce late running of the tour as 651 ran late due to regular breakdowns last year. Running both this year will mean longer stops at each terminus and reduce constant running and maintanance issues on these old Tridents. Hopefully the service will run much smoother this year.
The new livery is a simplified version, using the new revised main fleet livery. The tour is now the 3 Bridges Tour.
Both buses have scrolling back screens and front LED screens.
