Never Forget
BITESIZE Play
By Lee Mattinson
Directed by Rosie Kellagher
Cast Chris Connel & Adam Donaldson
Martha had it all before the accident. A husband, a home and a face. And after years on a waiting list, the doctors have finally located a donor. Except that this face fails to meet one minor specification. Because this face once belonged to a boy called Ethan.
But is it husband Fergus or her own body that poses the greatest threat of rejection? Can Ethan’s role in a fake Take That relight the long forgotten teenager in Martha? And why does how we look at people and what we see in them differ on such a catastrophic and cruel scale?
Queen’s Hall Arts works with North East writers to produce high quality, small scale touring work that excites and challenges audience as well as delivering an extensive outreach programme bringing workshops and performances to communities throughout the region.
