"E.W. Joyner B. 1888" Tree Carving

This old tree had this very old and very interesting carving.

 

A little research online shows that this was likely an outdoorsman in the area who worked at an area schoolhouse for a time.

 

This tree has a large quantity of unique carvings in it. Unfortunately, many of them are completely illegible.
