Between downpours in Chapel Hill I snuck off to the Botanical Gardens to try my hand a photographing plantlife. I've done almost none of this type of thing, instead trying to specialize in children, but the Justin Roberts concert I wanted to shoot this morning was sold out when we got there :-( Tomorrow we're going to see the Sunday shows of the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, four days of music from 9AM to 2AM. Damn I love this part of the country!
On the photo-geek side of things I tried all of my lenses, including the tilt-rig with the Rodagon 105mm, but I like the ouput of the new Sigma 30mm best of all.
