Buttermere Pines

Dawn in the Lake District. We drove over hills and down narrow stone-walled lanes in the dark to get to this lovely lake. It's interesting how so many scenic spots in the Lake District are in or next to working farmland. The row of pines at the end of the lake are situated on a private field; imagine driving your tractor past them every day.
