27 Avro CF-105 Arrow

You can see the J75 engine exhausts and revised wing and tail design here. My Arrow model was one of the first projects to incorporate the inverted plate/tile system that has become common in my later designs. I wanted to use the curved 2x1 slope bricks for the underbelly because they matched the original aircraft's design well. This meant I had to figure out a way to attach the stud-receiving surfaces. In some models, I use a noticeable flipped 2x1 2/3-finger hinge plate whereas here, I use them internally to hide the gap. Also, the original model didn't have functioning landing gear; this revised model does. It meant that the wing became a bit thicker in places but overall, the compromise was worth the result.
