This is at the intersection of 28th Street E and 17th Ave S in the East Phillips neighborhood south Minneapolis, just a block north of the Midtown Greenway.
I had been helping a friend with some remodeling work and was just leaving for the day when I heard a series of screeches and bangs from down the street. I rode over to investigate, and saw that two cars and one bicycle had been involved in some kind of collision. Of all the days to have forgotten my phone at home! One of the drivers was out and on her phone already, but had called a parent or family member instead of 911! I made sure someone had called for an ambulance and that the bicyclist was not in imminent danger, then stood back and listened to the sirens convene from different directions. The paramedics arrived quickly and put the cyclist in a neck brace, after which I took off.
