Sadly, my Mum and Step Farther both suffered with Dementia before they passed away. It's a truly awful disease.

It's not a single disease, but rather an umbrella term for various conditions that impact the brain and lead to these cognitive impairments. Dementia is progressive, meaning symptoms worsen over time, and it can affect various aspects of a person's life, including their ability to perform daily tasks, communicate, and manage emotions
