First flown with the Boeing test registration N1786B, this aircraft was delivered to Hapag-Lloyd Airlines as D-AHFW in Jan-01. It was fitted with blended winglets in 2002.

In Nov-05, Hapag-Lloyd was renamed Hapagfly.com and a year later, in Nov-06 it became TUIfly.com. The aircraft was leased to Air-Berlin in Nov-09 and returned to TUIfly in Jun-12.

It was returned to the lessor in Oct-17 and was leased to Andes Lineas Aereas (Argentina) as LV-HKZ in Dec-17. It didn't stay in Argentina for long and returned to the lessor as OE-IGC in Nov-18. It was stored at Goodyear, AZ, USA.

In Apr-19 the aircraft was leased to ASL Airlines - France as F-GZTV. It was withdrawn from service and stored at Belgrade, Serbia in Nov-20. It was returned to the lessor in May-21 and leased to a new Croatian airline, ETF Airways, as 9A-LAB the following day.

The aircraft was immediately wet-leased to another new name in the airline business, MyWings, a 'virtual airline' based in Pristina, Kosovo. It returned to ETF Airways in late Sep-22.

From Oct-22 the aircraft was operated on some of ETF's own flights and operated many short-term leases for other airlines. In Apr-23 it was wet-leased to Transavia - Holland for the summer season, returning to ETF Airways at the end of Oct-23.

The aircraft was leased to Jet2 .com in late Mar-24 for the summer season. Updated 24-Mar-24.
