entertainingly, i determined last night that the next thing that needs to be done before/as proceeding this year is to move the door in order to fill in that recessed wall & roof; last year, it was on day 13 that the door'd been moved.

we've shifted position slightly & have a smaller interior, the full S-couch already wrapped around a large rectangular room by this time last year; since our current exterior is already beyond last year's at this time, we apparently can go some distance further inside but no work's been done yet during daylight so it can be seen when the walls're getting thin, finally giving some idea of where you are in there.

we've begun the rear external staircase but it also is stymied by the absence of wall over where the door should be.

room 2 is ready to be tunnelled into.
