Can you make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? My grandfather, who often used that expression, would say that you cannot. While experimenting with Ilford Ortho Plus in my Polaroid 250 Land camera I discovered, post development, that I had accidentally fogged the sheet film while loading it in the camera. Here is the result. I find it interesting but am undecided whether or not it is a silk purse.
