Cap'n Bernard

Cap'n Bernard is a plasic figurine of an 19th century spanish pirate who was ostensibly "pirated" from an establishment on the beach of a less than reputable nature. Hellbent on milking the tourists for every penny in their wallets, this establishment made no attempt to supplement its sins by counterbalancing the unfair prices and poor quality merchandise with friendly service from the management. Therefore I felt no shame as i pocketed Cap'n Bernard and calmly walked out, leaving the job of falling for the tourist trap to somebody else.

A short while later he was epoxied to my dashboard with silicone glue. He stands today ever vigilant as is his nature; keeping an eye on all of us, making sure we buckle up.

Cap'n Bernard is there to make sure EVERYONE wears their seatbelts. Don't cross him, or you will surely feel the bite of his blade, Matey!
