Church Street School
The WPA built Tupelo's Church Street School in 1937 as part of an effort to rebuild the damage from one of the worst tornadoes in American history. Both Presidents Roosevelt and Truman visited the school, and a model of it was displayed at Chicago's Century of Progress World's Fair exhibition.
