Classical-Styled Tunnel

This is the underground station in the City of Westminster, next to Victoria Embankment Garden and close by the River Thames, London.

It is served by four lines, and is in two parts: sub-surface platforms originally opened in 1870 and deep-level platforms originally opened in 1906. As one can see, it’s got a bit of history and colours. It wasn’t easy for me to find this tunnel and I had to get the direction from the on-site staff in order to reach this beautifully preserved tunnel.

Taken at Embankment Tube Station, London (...with a bit of patience until there were no more passersby :-)
