An East Minneapolis to South St Paul transfer run threads its way through the Hoffman Ave interlocking east of downtown St Paul. A pair of SD18s providing the power. The Twin Cities was a hold out for the NorthWestern SD18s. Too bad the paint didn't hold up very well on them.
