Despedida / Farewell

Y por fin llegó el triste momento de la despedida, se acaba este viaje a Venecia, ya ha durado demasiado. Como siempre que me despido de La Serenísima República no es un adiós sino un simple hasta luego. Nada más poner el pie en el aeropuerto ya estoy deseando volver, ya estoy echando de menos el laberinto de callejones y canales.

Ya he guardado la máquina en la mochila seguro de que ya no la volveré a encender hasta llegar a casa, pero al salir del canal de Cannaregio y adentrarme en la Laguna, Venecia, siempre amable y agradecida, me ha regalado una hermosa puesta de sol, que entrañable despedida, ha conseguido reblandecer mi corazón.

And finally the sad moment of farewell arrived, this trip to Venice is over, it has already lasted too long. As always when I say goodbye to La Serenissima República it is not a goodbye but a simple see you later. As soon as I set foot in the airport I'm already looking forward to returning, I'm already missing the labyrinth of alleys and canals.

I have already put the machine in my backpack, sure that I will not turn it on again until I get home, but when I left the Cannaregio canal and entered the Lagoon, Venice, always kind and grateful, gave me a beautiful sunset What an endearing farewell, it has managed to soften my heart.
