Le Petit Cafe on Spring Street in SoHo was established in 1990 as the neighborhood continued its transformation from a bohemian artist district into a trendy upscale boutique and chain shopping destination. The cafe was known for its all-day breakfast menu and its quirky decor but it closed by 2016. We miss the vibe of the pre-gentrified SoHo but still love walking around the neighborhood to admire its gorgeous collection of cast-iron architecture as it still remains the largest collection in the world.
