St. Dymphna’s on St. Mark’s Place in the East Village opened in 1994.

It was named for the patron saint of the mentally ill and was known for its 🍺 pints of Guiness and also for its traditional Irish ☘️ breakfast (which we enjoyed) of eggs 🍳, baked beans, sausage and rashers and sliced potatoes . Sadly the Irish 🇮🇪 tavern closed a few days ago after 24 years in business.
