A Lazy Midweek Afternoon
This being my first full winter in Japan, I must say it's pretty easy to cope with after spending my entire life up to this point in dark gray Ohio. This last week has been dark and rainy making me feel like I am in Ohio again. Hopefully next week is back to the usual sunny skies that I have quickly grown accustom to. It's amazing how the sun affects your mood. I use to think that I hated winter because it's so cold, but what I really hated was how dark and drab it gets in the Midwest. It doesn't get as cold here, but it is humid enough to feel like it does, but the sun makes you feel as if it's ok and you don't care at all. That right there made it all worth moving.
